In real estate as in many other areas of life, I believe that it’s important to know who you choose to work with. To give you an idea of who I really am, I would like to use this space to introduce you to my life and to what really motivates me. As they say, the beginning is the best place to start…

I was born right here in the Phoenix area (Mesa, to be exact) as a third-generation Arizonan. In fact, members of my family have been in Arizona since the 1920s, so this beautiful state has been home to generations of my kin. Although I traveled extensively as a kid, I never found anywhere capable of drawing me away from AZ for long.

At 16 years old, I moved two hours away from home to Tucson to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, which I earned successfully at the age of 20. (While I have used algebra since then, I’ve never once found a use for Vector Calculus (Calculus III), or Differential Equations. In the meantime, God blessed me with my true sweetheart, Raquel, who graciously agreed to be my wife. We didn’t waste much time, tying the knot just a few weeks after my college graduation.

As soon as we returned from our honeymoon I began work, advancing to a director-level position with oversight of various investment initiatives including real estate and construction. As my involvement increased I grew to love the world of real estate, earning my Arizona Real Estate Agent designation and founding a general contracting company (Copper Eagle Construction).

It was during this time that God blessed my wife and me with a baby boy, whom we named Cruz (Spanish for Cross) to commemorate our Christian faith, which always takes priority in our lives. Just a couple of years later, God also blessed us with our wonderful daughter whom we named Valor in keeping with our earnest desire that she become a valiant and loving daughter of our Lord Jesus.

Ultimately, it’s my faith that produces the integrity that is so valuable to me and is the most foundational part of my life and work.
